Cubs vs. White Sox: Cubs release lineup for crosstown exhibition game

Share

The shortened 60 game season in 2020 puts less emphasis on stats and even more meaning on wins and losses for Cubs players.

The Cubs and White Sox square off on Sunday at Wrigley Field in the first of two crosstown exhibition matchups leading up to Opening Day on Friday.

Ahead of the game, the Cubs released the lineup they'll send out against the South Siders.

One notable exclusion is first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who's been limited since July 7 with lower back tightness. Cubs manager David Ross said Sunday that Rizzo is going through a full workday on-field, including batting practice.
